Care
Garments are built to be lived in. With a little attention they hold their line and colour for many seasons. The care symbol on the inner label is always the final word — what follows is general guidance.
Silk & satin
Dry-clean only. Store on a padded hanger, away from direct sunlight. If steaming at home, hold the steamer at a distance — never press silk with a hot iron directly.
Wool, cashmere & tailoring
Dry-clean once per season. Air between wears. Brush gently with a soft garment brush to lift surface fibres. Avoid wire hangers — use shaped wooden hangers to hold the shoulder line.
Cotton & linen
Cold wash, inside out, on a delicate cycle. Reshape while damp and dry flat. Iron on a medium setting while still slightly damp for the cleanest line.
Leather & vinyl
Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. No solvents. Store away from heat sources. For stubborn marks, a professional leather cleaner only.
Bridal & embellished
Bridal pieces are returned to the atelier after the wedding for steaming, repair and archival storage in cotton garment bags. We coordinate cleaning and shipping at cost.
If a piece is damaged or in need of alteration after wear, write to atelier@ingorokva.com. We repair garments we have made.
